Some call Agnes Water an unspoilt gem along the Queensland coast, offering stunning beaches and lovely community. The stretches of beach along Agnes Water and the Town of 1770 is considered a paradise for surfing in the Pacific waves, but surfing is not the only thing going on in the area. Nature lovers and enthusiastic photographers can take a short and magical trek at the Paperbark Forest Boardwalk with lush greeny bushes and peeling trees, filled with many varieties of insects and birds.

Gladstone is also home to many islands in the Pacific near the Great Barrier Reef where activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding and fishing are available. Away from sea, visitors can visit the picturesque Boyne Valley or go to Kroombit Tops National Park for some good ole hikes while exploring its tall gorges and cliffs.
