On this same island you can find crystal clear freshwater streams, smooth white sand dunes, tropical rainforests with lofty foliage and endless stretches of beaches, teeming with endless variety of wildlife. The native people of the island named it “K’gari” meaning ‘paradise’ and indeed it is a paradise for many.
